CADD Mapping

CADD Mapping creates, designs, and maintains state, counties, and South Dakota cities maps. These maps are used extensively by planning agencies, in road design, and the public for a variety of purposes. CADD Mapping also produces the Official State Highway Map.

This section contains a number of maps that the Office of Transportation Inventory Management produces. Maps are categorized by city, county, or state. A list of the maps available for purchase from the Department of Transportation is included in the price list.

Note: The colored and folded official state maps can be obtained through the Travel South Dakota website or by calling 605-773-3301.

DGN and DWG files must be downloaded and can only be viewed with MicroStation and AUTOCAD respectively or similar CAD development software. If you do not have this software, do not attempt to open these files.

The link below allows the user to download and run "Bentley View". Bentley View is a free viewer that can be used to view AutoCAD .dwg files and MicroStation .dgn files.
