SDDOT Seeks Public Input for Proposed Reconstruction Project on S.D. Highway 34 in Sturgis

The South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) will hold a public meeting open house on Thursday, Aug. 27, 2026, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. MT to inform area residents of the proposed reconstruction project on S.D. Highway 34 extending from west of 10th Street to east of Blanche Street in Sturgis.

Interstate 90 Exit 332 (Mitchell) Scheduled to Reopen to Traffic

On Tuesday, Aug.4, 2026, the roadway over the railroad bridges near exit 332 (Mitchell) will be fully reopened to traffic. The reopening will include the eastbound on-ramp at exit 332 to Interstate 90.
