Structure and Grading Projects Scheduled to Begin on U.S. Highway 85 in Butte County and S.D. Highway 20 in Harding County

Beginning Monday, March 30, 2026, crews will begin replacing a box culvert on U.S. Highway 85 over Hilderbrand Creek, approximately 20 miles north of Belle Fourche.

Construction Scheduled to Begin on S.D. Highway 50 through Tyndall
March 25, 2026
On Monday, April 6, 2026, work will begin on the S.D. Highway 50 and S.D. Highway 37 grading project between 417th Avenue and one-half mile west of the Highway 37 south intersection.
Grading Project Scheduled to Begin on S.D. Highway 25 Near Henry
March 25, 2026
On Wednesday, April 1, 2026, a nine mile grading and interim surfacing project is scheduled to begin west of Henry on S.D. Highway 25 from U.S. Highway 212 north to 164th Street.
Road Closure Scheduled for S.D. Highway 46 Surfacing Project Near Beresford
March 24, 2026
On Tuesday, April 7, 2026, S.D. Highway 46 from the east edge of the City of Beresford to 297th Street (Hudson Curve) is scheduled to close to complete the surfacing portion of the project.
