SDDOT Seeks Public Input for Proposed Reconstruction Project on S.D. Highway 10 in Sisseton

The South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) will hold a public meeting open house on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2025, from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. (CT) to inform area residents of the proposed S.D. Highway 10 reconstruction project in Sisseton.
Lane Switch Scheduled on Southbound I-29 over 12th Street and Ellis & Eastern Railroad in Sioux Falls

On Monday, Sept. 8, 2025, traffic control will be switched to allow motorists to utilize the newly constructed eastern most two lanes on the southbound Interstate 29 structures over 12th Street and the Ellis & Eastern Railroad.
Bridge Improvement Grant (BIG) Recipients Announced by South Dakota Transportation Commission

The South Dakota Transportation Commission awarded 24 preliminary engineering Bridge Improvement Grants (BIG) totaling approximately $1.5 million at the recent commission meeting held in Pierre.
Asphalt Shoulder Paving Project Scheduled on U.S. Highway 12 East of McIntosh

On Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2025, an asphalt shoulder paving project is scheduled to begin on U.S. Highway 12. The shoulder paving project is located from six miles east of McIntosh to one and one-half miles west of McLaughlin, for a total of approximately 20 miles.
Shoulder Resurfacing Project Scheduled to Begin North of Hot Springs
