At the South Dakota Transportation Commission meeting held on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025, commissioners awarded $4 million in economic development grants for infrastructure improvements to counties and smaller communities across South Dakota.

On the afternoon of Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2025, rock excavation blasting is scheduled on U.S. Highway 14A approximately four miles east of Deadwood.
Overnight Lane Closures Planned on Interstate 90 at Hartford - Exit 387

Beginning at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2025, through 6 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025, the eastbound lanes of Interstate 90 at exit 387 (Hartford) will be temporarily closed to allow crews to set bridge girders over the eastbound lanes.
Euclid Avenue Reopening to Through Traffic in Pierre
