The South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) will hold a public meeting open house on Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. (CT) to inform area residents of the proposed S.D. Highway 27 structure replacement project between Britton and Langford.

Beginning Tuesday, April 7, 2026, crews will begin constructing left-turn lanes on U.S. Highway 85 at Crook City Road, located south of Interstate 90 (exit 17) in Spearfish.
SDDOT Seeks Public Input on Reconstruction of S.D. Highway 48 and 50 Interchanges with I-29 in Union County

The South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) will hold a public meeting open house on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. (CT) to discuss and receive public input on the proposed reconstruction of the S.D. Highway 48 and S.D. Highway 50 interchanges with Interstate 29 in Union County. The public meeting open house will be held at the Vermillion Fire EMS Department, located at 820 N. Dakota St. in Vermillion.
