Interstate 90 Overnight Lane Closures and Traffic Diversions Planned at Brandon (Exit 406)

Beginning at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, eastbound and westbound lanes of Interstate 90 will be temporarily closed to divert traffic through the on- and off-ramps at exit 406 (Brandon).

State Transportation Funding Allows Counties and Cities to Prioritize Local Transportation Needs

The South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) provided nearly $40 million in state highway funding to counties and Class I city governments in June 2025. The funds will be provided to the local governments in either state highway funds or through federal aid projects.
Surfacing Project to Begin on Southbound Interstate 29 Between Watertown and Brookings
