Euclid Ave in Pierre Construction Map

Project Updates:

July 22, 2026:

On Friday, July 24, 2026, Euclid Avenue and Elizabeth Street will reopen to through traffic in Pierre. When north of Wynoka Avenue, motorists on Euclid Avenue will remain in a two-way configuration with lane shifts until all remaining work is completed. A 10-foot width restriction will be in effect. The intersection of Euclid Avenue and Elizabeth Street will be controlled by a four-way stop. Traffic signals at the Elizabeth Street intersection will be activated when all adjacent work has been completed and traffic lane lines are installed.

The east leg of the 4th Street intersection will be reopened in the coming weeks. At that time, the west leg will be closed to accommodate construction of the southbound lanes and west 4th Street.

Commuters should proceed through the work zone at slow speeds and be attentive for construction workers and equipment. Minimal delay is anticipated.
