SDDOT Seeks Public Input into the Hill City Master Transportation Plan Study Recommendations
July 19, 2023
The South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT), in collaboration with Hill City, will hold a public meeting open house from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 25, 2023. The public meeting open house will be held at the Hill City Center (located at 227 Walnut Ave.) to inform area residents of the recommendations of the Hill City Master Transportation Plan Study.

Crews will begin chip seal and fog seal projects on several highways in the Aberdeen area beginning Monday, July 24, 2023.
Turn Lane Project to Begin East of Humboldt at S.D. Highway 38 and 459th Avenue Intersection

On Monday, July 24, 2023, work will begin to widen the road east of Humboldt at the intersection of S.D. Highway 38 and 459th Avenue. The project will add east and westbound turn lanes at the Highway 38 and 459th Avenue intersection.
Chip Seal and Fog Seal Projects Scheduled to Begin in Northwest South Dakota
