Construction Project Underway on S.D. Highway 127 from North Dakota Border to Sisseton

On Thursday, July 27, 2023, a construction project began to crack level a section of pavement on S.D. Highway 127. The construction work includes a 37 mile section of Highway 127 from the North Dakota border to the intersection at S.D. Highway 10 in Sisseton.
Chip Seal and Fog Seal Project Scheduled to Begin on S.D. Highway 25 Near Howard

Crews will begin a chip seal and fog seal project on S.D. Highway 25, near Howard, beginning Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2023. The project will begin at the intersection of S.D. Highway 34 and Highway 25 and run north for 13 miles to the Miner/Kingsbury County line.
Interstate 229 Northbound On-Ramp Closure Planned at Benson Road in Sioux Falls

The Interstate 229 northbound on-ramp will be closed at Benson Road as part of this Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI) construction project in Sioux Falls from Monday, July 31, 2023, through Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2023.
Overnight Lane Closures Planned at Interstate 29 and 41st Street DDI Project in Sioux Falls

Lane closures are planned at the intersection of Interstate 29 and 41st Street from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. on both Wednesday, July 26, 2023, and Thursday, July 27, 2023, for crews to install steel girders that serve to support the bridge structure.
