SDDOT Seeks Public Input for 10th and 11th Streets Viaduct Replacement Study in Sioux Falls

The South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT), in conjunction with the City of Sioux Falls and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), will hold a public meeting open house to discuss the 10th and 11th Streets Viaduct Replacement Study. The public meeting is scheduled from 5 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at Holiday Inn City Centre, located at 100 E. 8th St. in Sioux Falls.

The Valley Springs Rest Area and Welcome Center on westbound Interstate 90 will be temporarily closing on Monday, May 12, 2025, at 7 a.m. (CT) for annual spring cleaning.
Overnight Construction Scheduled for U.S. Highway 385 Near Sheridan Lake

On Monday, May 5, 2025, construction is scheduled on U.S. Highway 385 near the intersection of Sheridan Lake Road to the north. Overnight activities will occur from the south end of Pactola Dam to Calumet Road. Construction crews will be working overnights each week from Monday at 6 a.m. to Saturday at 5 p.m. This schedule will continue through Wednesday, July 30, 2025.
