Temporary Closure Scheduled on Interstate 190 in Rapid City (1)
June 17, 2025
At 5 a.m. (MT) on Saturday, June 21, 2025, the final temporary closure on Interstate 190 and exit 57 in Rapid City is scheduled to take place. Both I-190 and exit 57 are scheduled to reopen on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at 8 p.m. (MT).
Interstate 90 Lane Closures and Traffic Diversions Planned at Brandon (1)
June 17, 2025
Beginning at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, the eastbound and westbound lanes on Interstate 90 at exit 406 (Brandon) will be temporarily closed for crews to set bridge girders.
SDDOT Seeks Public Input for the Bryant Master Transportation Plan Study

The South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT), in collaboration with the City of Bryant, will hold a public meeting open house on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Bryant City Center, located at 115 E. Main St. in Bryant.
Milling Work Scheduled to Begin on U.S. Highway 385 North of Sheridan Lake Road Near Hill City

During the week of Monday, June 16, 2025, construction crews will begin milling operations on U.S. Highway 385 from approximately one-half mile north of Sheridan Lake Road to Wrinkle Valley Road.
Traffic Switch Planned on Northbound I-29 in Sioux Falls as On-Ramp Reopens at 26th Street
June 12, 2025
On Monday, June 16, 2025, the northbound Interstate 29 on-ramp at 26th Street will be reopened. As structure work continues, northbound traffic on I-29 over the Skunk Creek Bridge will be switched and maintained in the two east lanes.
