On Thursday, Feb. 19, 2026, the South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT), in collaboration with the City of Pierre, and Morris, Inc., held an informational meeting to discuss the second year of reconstruction on Euclid Avenue in Pierre. The meeting, which included construction timelines and traffic changes, was scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, located at 714 North Grand Ave. in Pierre. The informational meeting was designed to share project information and answer questions for members of the public including impacted residents, local businesses, and emergency service personnel.
