Project Updates:

Sept. 19, 2025:

Aug. 15–Sept. 15, 2025 — Completed work: Shoulder work and edge drain installations continued along U.S. Highway 14. The weigh-in-motion section and the PCC pavement were completed in the eastbound lane. The westbound lane has been compacted and is awaiting mobilization of PCC pavement equipment to finish this portion of U.S. Highway 14.

To the east, crews completed shoulder grading, sealing and other modifications to the existing asphalt and PCC pavement in preparation for full paving operations.

Sept. 15–Oct. 15, 2025 — Anticipated work: PCC pavement will be placed in the westbound lane adjacent to the weigh-in-motion scale. Shoulder and other preparation work will continue in the coming weeks. Final scheduling of the rubblizing and paving portion of the project is being completed by the contractor, with updates to follow once dates are confirmed.
