Project Summary:
S.D. Highway 34 from West of 469th Ave to the East city limits of Colman.
Project will include removal and replacement of PCC surfacing, constructing three-lane roadway to reduce rear end crashes through town. Project will also include storm sewer and shared use path.

Sept. 15, 2025 – Oct. 15, 2025, Completed Work:
Grading work and concrete paving in the westbound lane have been completed. Construction of concrete footings for roadway lighting began.
Anticipated Work Oct. 15, 2025 – Nov. 15, 2025:
Crews will complete installation of roadway lighting, construct the sidewalk on the north side of S.D. Highway 34, and finish permanent signing and seeding.
