Project Summary:
S.D. Highway 34 from West of 469th Ave to the East city limits of Colman.
Project will include removal and replacement of PCC surfacing, constructing three-lane roadway to reduce rear end crashes through town. Project will also include storm sewer and shared use path.

Oct. 15, 2025 – Nov. 15, 2025, Completed Work:
Work included completing the sidewalk and roadway lighting on the north side of Highway 34. The contractor also installed permanent signing, applied temporary pavement markings, performed final grading and topsoil placement, and finished permanent seeding.
Anticipated Work Nov. 15, 2025 – Dec. 15, 2025:
The project is complete, with the exception of permanent pavement markings, which will be placed in spring 2026.
