July 8, 2025 - Press Release:
On Thursday, July 10, 2025, work will begin on the Interstate 90 westbound structure over Interstate 29. Traffic control will be put into place to allow for a two-way traffic configuration on eastbound I-90 utilizing crossovers. The north loop ramps of the I-90 and I-29 interchange will be closed during this time.
This two-way traffic configuration is anticipated to be in place until Friday, Aug. 15, 2025.

June 23, 2025:
May 15, 2025 – June 15, 2025, Completed Work:
Eastbound I-90 bridge over I-29
Work is now complete, and all lanes are back open along with the south loop ramps.
Westbound I-90 bridge over I-229
Two-way traffic is currently in place on eastbound I-90 to allow for work.
The contractor is currently working on removing delaminated concrete on the bridge deck.
Anticipated work June 15, 2025 – July 15, 2025: The contractor plans to complete low slump deck overlay, approach paving, mainline concrete paving, and guardrail work.
June 2, 2025:
On Tuesday, June 3, 2025, improvements to the westbound Interstate 90 bridge over Interstate 229 will begin. Crews will be placing traffic control to allow for two-way traffic on eastbound I-90 and closing the north loop ramps of the I-90 and I-229 interchange, exit 400.
Two-way traffic on eastbound I-90, along with the loop ramp closures, will be in effect from Thursday, June 5 until Friday, July 11, 2025.
