SDDOT Seeks Public Input for Proposed Reconstruction Project on S.D. Highway 49 in Colome

COLOME, S.D. - The South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) will hold a public meeting open house on Thursday, April 10, 2025, for the proposed reconstruction project on S.D. Highway 49 in Colome. The public meeting open house will be held at the Colome Volunteer Fire Department located at 100 Fireman Dr. in Colome. The open house will be informal, with one-on-one discussions with SDDOT design staff.

A presentation will take place shortly after 5:30 p.m. Afterwards, SDDOT staff will be available with displays to discuss the proposed project and answer questions. The opportunity to present written comments will be made available.

The website also allows for online written comments to be submitted. Written comments are accepted through Monday, April 28, 2025.
