Pipe Repair Projects Scheduled for S.D. Highway 231 (Sturgis Road)

Two separate projects consisting of pavement repair, pipe repair, pipe culvert replacement, and curb and gutter work will be conducted on S.D. Highway 231 (Sturgis Road) in the Rapid City area.
All-Way Stop to be Installed at Intersection of U.S. Highway 81 and U.S. Highway 18 North of Yankton

On Monday, Aug. 26, 2024, the South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) is scheduled to install an all-way stop at the intersection of U.S. Highway 81 and U.S. Highway 18, which is located north of Yankton and just east of Menno.
Temporary Intersection Closure Scheduled for Anamosa St. Bridge Project in Rapid City

On Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2024, the Anamosa Street and Nickel Street intersection in Rapid City will be temporarily closed to traffic.
SDDOT Seeks Public Input on Environmental Study for I-229 Interchange at Exit 4 (Cliff Avenue) in Sioux Falls

The South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT), in collaboration with the Sioux Falls Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) and the City of Sioux Falls, will hold a public meeting open house from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2024, at Lincoln High School, located at 2900 S. Cliff Ave. in Sioux Falls.
Traffic Switch Planned on U.S. Highway 81 Project North of Yankton

During the week of Monday, Aug. 26, 2024, traffic will be diverted onto the newly constructed lanes of the U.S. Highway 81 grading project between 302nd Street and 306th Street north of Yankton.
