SDDOT in Search of Borrow Material Providers for S.D. Highway 15 Project South of Clear Lake
July 18, 2022
In 2024, the South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) plans to administer a construction project on S.D. Highway 15 from Clear Lake south to S.D. Highway 28 west of Toronto. The purpose of this project is to enhance the safety and function of the roadway through grading, shoulder widening, replacing culverts, and improving sight distances.
Closure Planned at S.D. Highway 42 (Arrowhead Parkway) at the Six Mile Road Intersection in Sioux Falls

The South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) says that S.D. Highway 42 (Arrowhead Parkway) will be closed to through traffic from the Six Mile Road intersection to East 26th Street beginning Wednesday, July 20, 2022.
Temporary Lane Closure Scheduled for Shared Use Path Construction in Box Elder

The South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) says construction of a shared use path in Box Elder will require a temporary lane closure on Monday, July 18 and Tuesday, July 19, 2022. The lane closure will be on N. Ellsworth Rd. between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. both days.
Chip Seal and Fog Seal Projects Scheduled for Sioux Falls Area

The South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) says chip seal and fog seal applications will be applied to several highways in the Sioux Falls area of the state. The chip seal will begin on Monday, July 25, 2022.
Public Meeting and Road Closure Scheduled for S.D Highway 46 Reconstruction Project Near Irene

The South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) says that due to constructability issues with the traffic diversions, S.D. Highway 46 will be closed to through traffic on approximately Thursday, July 21, 2022. This is a process change from previously released information.
