U.S. Highway 14 - From Philip East Eight Miles

Project Summary:
This project will replace three structures, two box culverts, and construct one new bridge.
Approach grading and pipe replacement will also be included on the project.
Traffic is rerouted around the work area using the temporary diversions so crews can conduct structure and grading work. Traffic diversions will remain in place for the majority of the 2024 construction season. The first phase of work is expected to be completed on Friday, Oct. 25, 2024, with work resuming in spring 2025.

May 20, 2025:
April 15, 2025 – May 15, 2025, Completed Work: The diversion at site two, approximately three miles east of Philip was completed and traffic has been switched onto that alignment. The grading contractor has completed grading the new horizontal and vertical alignment and has begun removing the existing bridge.
Anticipated work May 15, 2025 – June 15, 2025: The existing bridge will be removed in its entirety. The site will then be undercut, and work will begin constructing the floor of the new box culvert. Traffic will remain on the diversion until the box culvert, surfacing, pavement markings, and signing at site two is completed. The anticipated finish date of site two is late summer.
The traveling public should proceed through the diversion at a reduced speed. The surfacing on the diversion is gravel.
