S.D. Highway 25 from U.S. Highway 212 North 9 Miles
Project Summary:
The project will replace and upgrade drainage structures to help improve water flow in the area. Crews will also regrade the roadway, reducing hills and filling low spots to provide better visibility for travelers. In addition, the project will widen the shoulders along this segment to enhance safety.

May 22, 2026:
Anticipated work in June 2026: Grading operations will continue within the first three miles of S.D. Highway 25 and will advance north as the initial mile is shaped and erosion controls and site finishes are installed. Milling and reclamation will continue to approximately 167th Street. Pipe installations will occur ahead of the advancing grading operations, and overburden material will continue to be relocated downgrade toward U.S. Highway 212 to achieve the finish‑grade elevations.
Completed work in May 2026: Grading operations and pipe installation continued along the first two miles of S.D. Highway 25 north of U.S. Highway 212. Asphalt milling, subgrade removal and topsoil reclamation have advanced ahead of the initial two miles, from 171st Street to 168th Street, in order to relocate the overburden to the first three miles of S.D. Highway 25 north of U.S. Highway 212.
