Project Summary:
S.D. Highway 34 from West of 469th Ave to the East city limits of Colman.
Project will include removal and replacement of PCC surfacing, constructing three-lane roadway to reduce rear end crashes through town. Project will also include storm sewer and shared use path.

Aug. 15 – Sept. 15, 2025, Completed Work:
Sidewalk construction was completed on the south side of the road. The westbound lane concrete pavement was removed, storm sewer was installed, and grading and paving began in the westbound lane.
Anticipated Work Sept. 15 – Oct. 15, 2025:
Crews will complete grading and paving in the westbound lane and begin sidewalk construction on the north side of the road.
