Sept. 12, 2025:
On Monday, Sept. 15, 2025, S.D. Highway 25 in Clark County will be closed from S.D. Highway 20 north for three miles. This closure is in place to allow crews to perform grading operations.
A signed car detour will be in place guiding motorists around the work zone utilizing 437th Avenue and 155th Street (County Road 20). Truck traffic is asked to find alternate state routes to detour around the project.
The current closure on Highway 25 south of Highway 20 for six miles remains in place.

Aug. 27, 2025:
July 15, 2025 – Aug. 15, 2025, Completed Work:
S.D. Highway 25 remains closed for six miles south of S.D. Highway 20. The contractor continued grading operations to the south and began installing concrete pipe culverts beneath the roadway. Paving preparations also started, with topsoil placement and other finishing work underway at the northern end of the project.
Anticipated Work Aug. 15, 2025 – Sept. 15, 2025:
The contractor is expected to continue grading and installing concrete pipe culverts to the south. Finishing work and asphalt paving will follow as site conditions and weather allow.
