Project Updates:

July 24, 2026:

Anticipated Work in August 2026: Embankment shaping, seeding, and environmental controls will be finalized in preparation for the final asphalt surface from 164th to 154th Street. Paving is now anticipated to begin by mid‑August.

Completed Work in July 2026: Final grading and shaping of S.D. Highway 25 have been completed north of S.D. Highway 20 on the remaining two miles to the Clark County line. The interim surface has been placed one mile south and four miles north of Highway 20.

June 29, 2026:

Anticipated Work in July 2026:

Final grading and shaping of S.D. Highway 25 between 156th Street and 154th Street is anticipated to be completed. Final fine grading, embankment shaping and erosion control measures will continue in preparation for the interim surfacing.

The interim surfacing is anticipated to be placed in mid-July on the remaining gravel sections located one mile south and four miles north of S.D. Highway 20.

Upon completion of this grading project, Contract 09VF is anticipated to begin in late July or early August. This phase includes the final asphalt surfacing of the entire 10-mile corridor from 164th Street to 154th Street, weather permitting.

Completed Work in June 2026:

Regrading and shaping continued on the remaining 2 miles of S.D. Highway 25 between 156th Street and 154th Street. All pipe installations were completed.

Erosion control, seeding and finishing operations also continued from south to north, beginning at S.D. Highway 20.
