About Office of Aeronautics Services

Air transportation is vital to South Dakota's economy. SDDOT's Air, Rail, and Transit program provides planning and engineering expertise to communities interested in improving or building airports. This office also handles aircraft registrations and permits for tall structures.

  • 6 - Commercial Service
  • 6 - Large General Aviation
  • 17 - Medium General Aviation
  • 26 - Small General Aviation
