May 20, 2026:
Anticipated work in June 2026: The contractor will complete bridge deck forming and reinforcing steel installation, place the bridge deck concrete, set forms and install reinforcing steel for the bridge barriers, and place the bridge barrier concrete. Granular backfill at the bridge ends will be installed, and sleeper slab and approach slab work will begin. Grading will continue in preparation for asphalt paving anticipated in late June to early July.
Completed work in May 2026: The contractor completed bent No. 2, placed the abutment footing for abutment No. 1, set girders for spans 1 and 2, and began bridge deck forming and installation of stainless reinforcing steel.
