White Lake Rest Areas on Interstate 90 Temporarily Closing for Annual Cleaning

WHITE LAKE, S.D. - The White Lake Rest Areas on both eastbound and westbound Interstate 90 will both be temporarily closing on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at 7 a.m. for annual spring cleaning. Both rest areas are scheduled to reopen to the public at approximately 7 a.m. on Thursday, May 8, 2025.

Travelers are encouraged to find alternate rest areas to use during the time of the closure. For additional information on rest areas in South Dakota and to view an interactive map of rest area locations, please visit https://dot.sd.gov/travelers-/-travelers-/-rest-area/ports-of-entry.
