Overnight Construction Scheduled for U.S. Highway 385 Near Sheridan Lake

HILL CITY, S.D. - On Monday, May 5, 2025, construction is scheduled on U.S. Highway 385 near the intersection of Sheridan Lake Road to the north. Overnight activities will occur from the south end of Pactola Dam to Calumet Road. Construction crews will be working overnights each week from Monday at 6 a.m. to Saturday at 5 p.m. This schedule will continue through Wednesday, July 30, 2025.
While construction operations are taking place, traffic will be controlled with the use of flaggers 24 hours a day. Motorists should expect wait times of up to 15 minutes.
