Construction Scheduled to Begin on Bridge Replacement Project on S.D. Highway 79 in Harding County

BELLE FOURCHE, S.D. - On Monday, March 17, 2025, work is scheduled to begin on a bridge replacement project on S.D. Highway 79 in Harding County. The work will consist of constructing a new bridge over the North Fork Grand River with a realignment of the road to the new structure. The original bridge will be demolished upon opening of the new structure.

A-G-E Corporation Contractors, of Fort Pierre, S.D., is the prime contractor on this $10.4 million project. The overall completion date for the project is Oct. 31, 2025.
