South Dakota Department of Transportation Seeks Public Input into Interstate 29 Exit 71 Interchange Modification Study

The South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT), in collaboration with Lincoln County, the city of Harrisburg, city of Tea, the Sioux Falls MPO, and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), will hold a public open house from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 23, 2021, in the Council Room of the Tea City Hall (600 E 1st Street; Tea).

Asphalt Resurfacing Continues on S.D. Highway 34 and S.D. Highway 79

The South Dakota Department of Transportation says crews have begun asphalt resurfacing operations on S.D. Highway 79 between mile marker 118 and mile marker 130, seven miles north of Sturgis to the U.S. Highway 212 intersection. Asphalt resurfacing will also begin the week of Aug. 16, 2021, on S.D. Highway 34, in Sturgis between mile markers 36 and 39.
