Interstate 90 Closing From Rapid City to Chamberlain
December 21, 2022
A closure on Interstate 90 (both eastbound and westbound) is planned from Rapid City (Box Elder exit 67) to Chamberlain beginning at 6 p.m. (MT) / 7 p.m. (CT) on Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2022, due to snow and high winds causing blizzard-like conditions.
S.D. Highway 38 Closure Planned at Interstate 90 near Hartford for Bridge Repair

Repair work is scheduled to begin on the Interstate 90 eastbound bridge structure over S.D. Highway 38 (exit 390 at Hartford).
New Construction Material Requirements for Build America, Buy America Act Begin in January

The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) included the Build America, Buy America Act (Act). The Act is intended to strengthen Made in America Laws and ensure many of the materials used on federal aid projects are produced in the United States. The Act added requirements for construction materials to be manufactured in the United States.
