Construction begins on new 85th Street/Interstate 29 interchange - Dakota News Now

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Construction is finally underway on the long-planned interchange at 85th Street and Interstate 29 in Sioux Falls, and the project will shape the area for the future.

The $54 million diverging diamond interchange will connect Sioux Falls to Tea and will include a pedestrian and bike underpass, traffic signals, streetlights, and underground utilities.

Sioux Falls leaders said these types of interchanges are already showing success in other communities.
