Looking for your feedback on the SDDOT Public Involvement Plan
Every day, hundreds of thousands of residents and visitors depend on the South Dakota transportation system. Every individual and community have unique mobility needs and the state’s network of roads, bridges, trails, and other transportation facilities strive to serve all. The importance of transportation in everyday life makes public involvement particularly important to making effective transportation network decisions.
Active and robust engagement with the public and communities ensures that transportation improvements meet your unique needs and desires, provides you with a sense of ownership in projects, and helps establish a relationship of trust and accountability. South Dakota Department of Transportation has developed a comprehensive framework to guide our engagement with the public. We are looking for your feedback on our Public Involvement Plan.
