S.D. Highway 10 - Between Britton and Houghton


Project Summary:

This project consists of widening the shoulder of the roadway to improve safety and will include a structure and pipe replacement. Additionally, the intersection will be modified at the turn lane. 

Phase two of the project will consist of milling and asphalt resurfacing.

Nov. 21, 2025: 

Expected Work Suspension:
Work is expected to suspend around Nov. 26, 2025, (weather dependent). Approximately 2–3 miles remain to be completed next spring.

Work Remaining:
Remaining work includes grading to Britton, paving at the pipe culvert locations, and completing erosion control measures.
