MOBRIDGE, S.D. – The South Dakota Department of Transportation says structure replacement and approach grading will begin on Dewey County Highway 7 one mile east of Whitehorse on Monday, May 18, 2020.

For the first phase of the project, most of the work will be off the road and should not impede traffic.

Later in the project, traffic will be reduced to one lane and guided through the project with the use of flaggers. A delay of up to 15 minutes can be expected while traveling through the work area during daytime hours. A notice will be sent when this occurs.

Swingen Construction Company from Grand Forks, North Dakota is the prime contractor on the $1.04 million project.
