ADA UPGRADES TO BEGIN ON MT RUSHMORE ROAD

Rapid City, S.D. – The South Dakota Department of Transportation says ADA sidewalk upgrades at the intersections of Main Street, St. Joseph Street, and Kansas City Street on Mt. Rushmore Road in Rapid City will begin on Monday, March 2, 2020. 

Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction. Pedestrian detours will be in place to allow safe crossing around the construction area. 

Work is expected to be completed by the end of May.
