U.S. Highway 12 - Bridges Near Keldron and McIntosh



Project Summary:

This project on U.S. Highway 12 replaces two aging bridges over the BNSF Railroad. The new, wider bridges are located approximately one and one-half miles west of Keldron and one mile east of McIntosh.

Project Timeline:

April 15, 2024 - Aug. 2024

Project Updates:

Anticipated work from April 15, 2024May 15, 2024:  Work is scheduled to resume on the project at the McIntosh site on Monday, April 15, 2024, with work impacting traffic to begin on April 22At that time, the existing road surface will be ground and left in place and grading work will begin off each end of the bridgeDuring this work phase, traffic will be controlled with flaggers and pilot car during working hoursNormal two-way traffic will be restored during non-working hours.  

The contractor plans to pour the bridge deck at the Keldron site around the week of April 29, 2024.
