Winner - U.S. Highway 18 and S.D. Highway 44
PROJECT COMPLETE
Project Summary:
This two-year project will complete the reconstruction of the roadway through Winner. This project will upgrade the sidewalk, ADA panels, lighting through town, underground utilities and the roadway on Highways 18 and 44 through Winner.
Project Timeline:
Project Start Date: April 18, 2022
Project End Date: November 2023 (Misc. items will be completed in Spring of 2024).
Project Updates:
Dec. 8, 2023
November Completed Work: The Contractor finished all concrete work on the project. Highway 18 was fully opened through Winner. They completed all topsoil placement on the project as well as seeding and erosion control. Right-of-Way markers were placed on Highway 44 and 18 through Winner. Temporary Striping was placed, and all traffic control was taken down for the project.
Anticipated work in December: No Work in December. The Contractor will do Permanent Pavement Markings in the Spring of 2024 along with grinding of rough spots on mainline.
