PORTION OF HIGHWAY 10 CLOSING FOR BRIDGE REPLACEMENT

ABERDEEN, S.D. – The South Dakota Department of Transportation will begin bridge replacement work on Highway 10 from Leola to Highway 281 on Monday, Feb. 17, 2020. 

The road will be closed to thru traffic until mid-October and motorists will need to find an alternate route. 

The contractor will be removing and rebuilding two structures, one over the Elm River and one over Dry Run Creek. 

This work is part of a nearly $4.3 million contract with Industrial Builders, Inc. for bridge work on Highway 10 in the Aberdeen region. 

The overall completion date for all bridge work is the end of October.
